haha literally the freshman boys who still want to rush pike in the spring are all very weird and not fun. I guess will fit in nicely with their current pledge class

Sig eps PC is classic sig ep- weird combo and douchey. Phi psi got the type of guys they wanted with some really good ones and no matter what any of you older fraternity guys say Pi kapp got another great pledge class. And then we have Pike who will be the new DG of campus by next year-- not liked and washed up

Pi kapp's class was #3 at best. Great by their usual standards maybe. Sigep and Phi Psi did real well. Pike did poorly. Most of the kids Pike lost went to sig ep and phi psi. Few if any went Pi kapp.

back to the original question -- rush them all and then decide.. I think what a lot of the people on this neglect to mention is that all four of those fraternities are fairly challenging to get bids from if you're NOT what THEY want..

If you truly want to be in sig ep and be around that type of people for for years than by all means go for it

I've seen a lot of negative comments on these two. They both seem like great guys to me from the ones ive met. I will be rushing both in the spring.

Oh believe me they are both great at putting on a nice face when they need to. Hang out with them more and you'll see their real side

In two years on this site it will be Pi Kapp Phi Psi and Sig ep bickering whose top. Pike will be a washed up thing of the past. In my opinion I don't get why people would want to be around Sig Ep but the boys they attract would never join Pi Kapp bc Pi Kapp isn't looking for those types of guys. Some sig eps could fit in at phi psi but most are a very special breed.

Just wait touched upon it very briefly but basically Pi Kapp and Sig Ep are pretty much polar opposites with Phi Psi doing its own thing. This is why you don't often see people like both Pi Kapp and Sig Ep. Pi Kapp has a lot of nice guys (why sorority girls like them), student government type guys who are involved in other organizations on campus, colonial cabinet and stuff. This is why they get along with Sigma Chi. Sig Ep has a lot of douchey gym bros that are rarely seen outside of bars/clubs or the gym, can be a bit classless to girls sometimes. Pike actively recruits this type of person. This is why they get along with Pike. Those guys would never join Pi Kapp. Pike used to have a lot of guys that fell into both categories but they don't attract as many of the guys that now go Pi Kapp because of their brothers and the way their rush/pledge process is set up. Pike usually gets a lot of the type of guys sig ep wants but this year most of that group chose sig ep for some reason. Phi Psi mostly is just focused on having a good time and partying without much emphasis put on competing with other fraternities other than rush week. Thats why other fraternities don't really mind Phi Psi and even have joint mixers with them.
