chances of rushing as a junior

I'm planning on transferring to GW in the fall. I don't think I'd be eligible for recruitment till the spring, but I'll be a junior by then. Any idea on what my chances would be for joining a sorority? should I try for informal recruitment instead?

Recruitment takes place in the spring. I don’t know the chances, every sorority is different! But I do know informal is more chill and probably higher chances of getting in if not that many people go through recruitment! I hope this helps (:

You could go rush formal recruitment and if you don’t think you’re gonna get a chapter you want, you could drop and try to do informal if chapters didn’t get good turnout

i think your chances of joining as a junior are slim but approach some sisters in different chapters and they might be doing informal in fall.

Not true. I met plenty of girls during recruitment that were juniors and junior transfers and are now happy in their sororities.
