chances of rushing as a junior

I'm going to be transferring to GWU as a half-sophomore. I completed 3 semesters at my old school, then took this past spring semester off and am now transferring. By the time formal rush comes around in the spring, I will be at junior standing. What are my chances of getting a bid from any of the sororities as a junior? would it be better to do informal rush later?
