pike-dg

In response to whoever was wondering why Pike and DG are still so close, part of it is because they have a long history of mixing together and introducing their pledges to each other. Then they become friends. The other part is that DG really commits to Pike and helping them out. There isn't another real strong alternative with DG getting worse, because no one else would probably commit to Pike in the same way DG has.

SK is close with Pi Kapp and Sigma Chi
Alpha Phi is close with Sig Ep

Kappa is close with Phi Psi but still isn't really much of an upgrade. Chi O is now an option and we'll see how that pans out.

Pikes 2012 PC wants nothing to do with DG, it's only the older guys who are still tight with them. And it's not as strong as it was a few years back, the seniors and juniors in Pike definitely hang out with other sororities a lot more than the Pikes did back in 2010/2011. And the younger Pikes hang out with literally every sorority except Phi Sig/Pi Phi/SDT. The DG/Pike relationship is a joke compared to what it was 4 years back.

Alpha Phi and Sig Ep + Kappa and Phi Psi are much stronger now.

This post is an explanation of why they were/are close, not the direction they're heading. I don't disagree with what you said.

Agree with this totally. The DG-Pike relationship really only exists among the seniors and a little bit the juniors. Pike sophomores wanted nothing to do with DG when they joined last year.

Most chapters do mix with Sigma Chi but I wouldn't say they throw down the hardest..

Pikes don't like DG... their seniors and juniors have some relations from when they were freshmen but the younger Pikes branched out way past DG.

PiKapp - SK is real strong. 11',12', and now 13' PC's are introduced from the beginning. Good thing going.

I've noticed that a lot of the sorority and fraternities that are linked rise and fall at the same time. Like DG started dropping hard last year, and this year Pike suffered. APhi is considered top now, and SigEp is finally eclipsing Pike. SK is getting better, so is PiKapp. And Sigma Chi and ADPi are both falling a bit but still floating around the middle.
