Top tier - everyone loves them and no one dropped them during recruitment this year
1. APhi
2. SK (is it me or is their pc really weird this year?)
3. Chi O (better PC than SK but their older girls aren't great)
Upper Mid - hot girls but very stigmatized and not well respected
4. KKG
5. DG (DG is hotter than KKG but everyone hates them)
Mid - respected and liked, but not as hot as the top 5. Mix of cute girls and whatever ones.
6. ADPi
7. KD (They're brand new so it's an accomplishment for them to be mid tier at all)
Lower mid - not super respected but not as bad as the bottom.
8. AEPhi
9. SDT (used to be worse than pi phi, now giving aephi a run for their money. Could surpass AEPhi by next year but also might just be a phase.)
Bottom - little to no respect for being in either of these, but still nice girls.
10. Pi Phi
11. Phi Sig
Some will argue Chi O belongs in the mid tier but I think they've proven themselves worthy of better- especially after dominating pike FC.

Chi O really wants to be a top house. They're well on their way to achieving that goal and any frat guy will tell you they're pretty obsessed with mixing with the top houses. They love partying and they're competitive as well. They don't exactly try to play hard to get though.
SK has a tight sisterhood but they don't seem to care as much about being a top house. They're pretty diverse and happy doing their own thing. SK seems to like bringing in unique girls rather than a specific type of girl.

That post was titles "my take" - meaning my opinion. Not to be taken as fact.
They're both very good sororities thats just what I've seen from them.

The top sororities and fraternities rarely take sophomores. I would keep that in mind before getting too excited about it.
Sorry to rain on your parade but I thought it would be best to give you a warning on that.

Just wondering - if APhi is considered a "bad" sorority because of its lack of sisterhood, etc. What is its attraction? Im considering rushing next year and Im considering them, specifically. Are they the rich kids, classy, snobish crowd? But Im sure they're friends with their sisters.

No, thanks. I'll keep that in mind. Then maybe next semester? Depends on who does recruitment. I know a Junior transfer who got in to SK and a sophomore who's pledging Pi Kapp. Haha, I guess it's all about luck. I really like APhi but Ive been told from someone that they don't take Sophomores. But why though? Im just wondering. Whats the deal with not taking sophomores/juniors/seniors?

Honestly I do wish you the best of luck... SK and Pi Kapp do take sophomores but Alpha Phi rarely does. There are exceptions. Pi Kapp is not top tier though.
I would recommend SK over Alpha Phi anyways... They're top tier and great. Thats probably your best bet.

Alpha phi is the top sorority on campus. They are the furthest thing from bad. But they don't take sophomores because they don't need to. Freshman get more involved and ultimately pay more in dues, it's better to take freshmen if you can. But if you have a really awesome sophomore, sometimes it's worth it to take them over a whatever freshman. But alpha phi doesn't get whatever freshmen, they get the best freshmen.

When I said "bad" I meant it in the sense that everyone on here says they lack sisterhood. Oh okay, that makes sense that they end up paying more in dues. So no sophs, juniors for APhi? Im still surprised a junior transfer got a bid for SK.

"Sisterhood" is only a small part of what makes a sorority good. And aphi's is ok, there are just others that are stronger.

not exactly. SK's PC tops Chi O in looks in my opinion. Chi O has very cool chill girls though. They just aren't as pretty

yeah ok pi phi. pi phi is chill because they do nothing, no one wants to hang out with them. having a couple cute girls doesn't make you a pretty sorority either.

When I went through Recruitment, I wasn't invited back to KD but I was invited back to ADPi and AEPhi on pref night. Can someone please explain the logic there? I actually liked KD but I didn't understand how that even happened.

KD was a lot pickier than adpi and aephi were being, but that's why adpi and aephi didn't do well in recruitment this year. But every year girls slip through the cracks. You could have been 1 spot away from getting asked back.

@qwerty- AEPhi and ADPi both were doing really bad in recruitment this year so that's probably why girls got cut from KD but not them. But you should rush again as a sophomore, a lot of girls just fall through the cracks the first time around!

@ton, i wasn't invited back to KD either even earlier than before pref. I wanted to get Chi O, KD or ADPi but on Pref night I got Pi Phi and Phi Sig. So I just dropped. Its annoying because Chi O and ADPi cut me right before pref. They should have just cut me earlier so I didnt have to waste time.
