KD is the reason why other sororities will have to do spring rush because they had the biggest pledge class.

It has nothing to do with the new PCs at this point and everything to do with chapter total. Some sororities got big pledge classes but don't have a lot of seniors left so their total is not meeting 150. I believe this is the case with Sigma Kappa.

This is correct. However, with this case its not an issue of filling a lot of spots so the sororities that don't make total quota are not doing open spring recruitment. They are more selective for filling spots.

That's what I heard but no one's confirmed it. I'm surprised there are sororities that are under 130...

uhm thats 5 genius. if anything itll be phi sig, pi phi, kd, and aephi. even if kd went over quota they need as many girls as they can get...

I said "the ones I am hearing" genius, not which 4 specifically. It's definitely not KD, they went over quota the same as Chi O did when they were new a few years ago. New sororities are always allowed by panhel to go over quota.
Anyway, I would assume Pi Phi, SDT, AEPhi and Phi Sig ar the 4. Aside from AEPhi they spring rush basically every year.

KD got a good pledge class. I'm in KD! Did I mention I like adpi's pledge class too? I'm an adpi! <> I have dual sisterhood it's awesome.

The system is in place because girls can't handle rejection. They can't handle getting rejected from the sororities they like, the sororities can't handle getting rejected by the PNMs. This system maximizes options for both parties. It's a good system, it just slows down a sorority's ability to improve, unlike frats that have a much higher turnover rate by taking a small yet high quality PC.

Why in the heck do sororities even have quota? Wouldn't it make more sense to be selective and only take girls who are qualified?
This system makes it damn near impossible for bad sororities to ever improve because they are forced to take these huge classes when they actually be selective and improve like frats do.
Is this system in place just so girls don't get left without bids?
