informal recruitment/cob/sophomore rush advice

Advice for anyone considering informal recruitment after a bad formal experience? I got dropped by a bunch on the 1st day & really felt like they didn't get a chance to see my personality/meet me in only 20 minutes. I've always dreamed of being in a sorority but idk if I could go through this emotional upset again. Is informal good so i can get in asap or is formal best to the whole system again and experience bid day as a sophomore?

COB is amazing!! Plenty of sororities do it, and many find it way easier to build a connection with sisters before getting a bid :)

Informal is a great opportunity, but bear in mind that many sororities will not participate. However, many chapters do participate, and it definitely is a more relaxed setting.
