sophomore rush

Is it common for sophomores to rush at GW and do they usually get bids? I may transfer next fall wondering what sororities look for during rush. Also does anyone usually COB in the fall? I don't care about tiers just curious if that would be better than waiting for formal recruitment.

Yes, sophomore rush is common. You should do COB if you know you would want to be in one of the chapters who is doing it.

yes, sophomore rush is common. however, if you are transferring in, i urge you to wait until formal recruitment to join a chapter because that way, you will get to meet every single chapter. it would suck to join a chapter doing COB only to realize that the chapter you were meant to be in was not doing COB. also, high GPAs go a long way for sophomores partaking in recruitment, so maybe try to get yourself established at GW and join a club in the fall, so you can be a great greek life candidate for formal recruitment.
