Kappa can either be behind Chi O and above ADPi or behind KD and above AEPhi, depending on how much you weigh certain factors. Personally I'd put them behind Chi O, because I do think they have a solid number of attractive members and are very fun. But Kappa is no longer top tier, end of story. And SDT is certainly not above AEPhi; they have repeatedly struggled to make quota and are essentially like if AEPhi and Pi Phi had a baby - jappy yet unremarkable. Theta, of course, shouldn't be ranked until they complete a formal recruitment. It's no knock against them, just puts them on a more even playing field.

This goes back to the universal truth of recruitment: rankings are personal and based around what you as an individual value. If you care about grades, involvement, and philanthropy, you'll prefer chapters like Chi O and ADPi over chapters like AEPhi and Kappa. If you care more about partying and having very similar (and therefore close-knit) girls, you'll prefer Kappa and AEPhi over the others. Kappa and AEPhi recruit a very specific type of PNM (as does ADPi but that type is quite different), so it makes sense that the rankings of those groups are up to personal preference. Kappa is not "worse" than any chapter if what you're looking for is what Kappa is offering. But Kappa/AEPhi doesn't appeal to the majority of PNMs, which is why most rankings on here put those chapters on their own, or lower, since they're not top picks for many in recruitment. However, that's not to say that there aren't girls who will love Kappa/AEPhi and see it as a perfect fit. Everyone gets their girls, so it doesn't matter in the end where I think Kappa/AEPhi goes, so long as the girls in Kappa/AEPhi are happy.

Some houses should be tied imo. Aphi & SK tbh are very similar. Aphi has pool party, sk is on average smarter (though aphi does have some smart sisters). Sk is more diverse, aphi in all fairness has a lot of blondes who love tanning. Chi o & adpi are inverses of each other- chi o is v social but has weak sisterhood, adpi is bookwormish & not nearly as into partying as other houses but has good sisterhood. I'd give chi o points for being prob one of the most diverse houses but adpi vs chi o depends on how much you value social life & parties vs how much you value sisterhood. Both value academics a lot & their sisters are generally smart, so they're fairly similar. Also: kappa is not top. We've been through this- they used to be, but haven't been in a while. They do their own thing & are pretty different from the other houses except for aephi, so I agree with the other posts on here who say it's more accurate to compare kkg to aephi than to the other houses since both are v different.

This is the most accurate rank so far IMO. I think it will be interested to see how many PNMs choose Theta over Phi Sig in the end, as sort of a "would you rather build a chapter from the ground up, or have an established chapter with its given perception and work around that". All the houses are great and have something wonderful to offer, but this recruitment is really unlike any other, and should be interesting to watch.

yeah this is the best in my opinion as well. Kappa and AEPhi are too different/so specific that you cant fairly group them with the rest.
Id add that ADPi will likely be surpassing chi o after this recruitment. chi o's year has been extremely rough and PNMs should be more aware of their sisterhood issues and fakeness during recruitment with it being in the spring.

Kappa is not top but it is not worse that Chi Omega nor worse than SK thats the end of that story. Also Aephi should not be below ADPi thats kind of odd.
