there's no way in the world a phi sig would be trying to tear down kappa. they're in completely different orbits and recruit completely different girls. while kappa does party with lots of guys, that's literally all they do.

I think it's not so much that frats would rather party with pi phi/KD but most PNMs would rather join those groups, because they attract a wider range of girls and aren't constantly in trouble. Most girls at GW are smart enough to care about more than what fraternities want.

This is actually funny, youre clearly a KD or Pi Phi for ranking yourself that high. Kappa has gone down but its still much higher than those, Aephi should not be that close to Phi sig, and ADPi is not top 3.

i know hahaha you're struggling with the fact that its not all about the boys, but its not. its a mix of how active you are and more importantly do pledges want to be you. Also someone is 8 and 9 on the pole...it doesn't go from 8 to 13, so i don't get your last point.

you're clearly a kappa who is living in denial about the fact that you guys started going downhill four years ago. AEPhi stole some top girls from Kappa last year, hence the snap bids you extended. Either focus on becoming the well-rounded chapter that the majority of PNMs want, or steer into the special interest group vibe and just understand that by not being universally appealing, you will continue to fall. Obviously girls in Pi Phi or whatever aren't gunning for top tier right now but it makes you look pathetic when you're lashing out at them or at Phi Sig when you obviously recruit opposite girls. just calm down!!!

I love when people comment on kappa who clearly know nothing. Yeah, we lost over 20 girls last year... because they graduated. Only a few were asked to leave during membership review that you guys love to mention. We also see this as a positive in the long run because these girls were not adding to our involvement as a chapter. People who say we aren't involved need to realize we have a different culture where we don't parade around in our letters in cliques of only kappas. We are involved all over campus, you guys just don't ~expect~ us to be and we don't feel the need to express our Greek affiliation like others do. We know who we are and that's what matters to us

Kappa doesn't deserve nearly all the hate they get. They're clearly trying to change their image around, so we should commend them for that instead of attacking them for the stereotype they're working against. However, EVERY chapter had girls graduate this spring, but no one else had to go through a membership review. Even if it was "only a few", that's still a really serious thing for Kappa nationals to come to DC and remove sisters from membership. PNMs should and will take this into consideration during recruitment, and it is my hope that this drastic measure really was a step in the right direction, so that the issues with kappa are no longer systemic. No one wants to see another chapter fold at GW, so from one panhel sister to another, I'm rooting for Kappa.
