getting dropped during rush
by: PNM 2021Hey! Im going to be a freshman this year and was wondering how likely it is to (or what is the percentage of people the get dropped) during rush? Thanks!!

Unfortunately Panhellenic doesn't release those sorts of numbers after recruitment, although I wish they did. I was a pi rho chi last year, and I believe there were 12 girls who had been completely dropped by the third day. Honestly it's not that common so I would recommend you not worry about it and just enjoy your first semester!

So true to all of the above. It's hugely UNcommon to be outright dropped everywhere. If you're a pleasant person who can carry on a decent conversation with new people you meet, you'll probably be fine during formal recruitment. Also, with deferred recruitment this year, you'll have more time to really get to know the Greek women on campus, and see if it's right for you.
