Do frats at GW do frat sweethearts? Does it depend on the chapter?

Most Fraternities do it, but most are not forced to do so. Some are forced by their nationals to do so.

What do they do when they make you a sweetheart? Do they give you a shirt with letters, is there some kind of ceremony...? Do you have any responsibilities as a sweetheart or is it just a title?

It used to be a lot more popular when there were more established frats on campus. No responsibilities, just a title. Sometimes you'd get like a ceremony, sometimes not. Sometimes you would get a sweatshirt, sometimes not. Varies frat to frat. You usually don't get letters though so far as I know. That's a whole different ceremony for long-term girlfriends I think. (Someone lmk if that's wrong idk)

Yeah for the girldfriends/boyfriends its called pinning. sororitys and Frats do it
