gw top tier frats?

Which frats have traditionally been top tier at GW in terms of tradition and prestige?
Pike? Sig Ep? Sigma chi? SAE? DTD? Sigma chi and SAE seem to have the longest history andonly recently suffered setbacks. Thoughts?

SAE was the dominant fraternity on campus like 20 years ago but they got kicked off and never fully recovered. Sigma Chi used to be good decades ago as well but got in trouble. They recovered better than SAE but they took too many nerdy kids so they're kind of stuck at middle tier for the forseeable future.
DTD and Kappa Sig also used to be top tier and got kicked off campus. They both just came back recently and seem to be rebounding pretty strongly. They're middle tier for now but could make the jump up someday.
Pi Kapp has always been decent but never really any more or less than that.
Phi Psi was always pretty decent but never number 1. They really benefitted from Pike and SigEp getting in trouble the last few years but now that those two have fully recovered it doesn't look like Phi Psi is able to really compete with them anymore.
PIKE and SigEp have been the top fraternities on campus for the past 10 years or so. Pike has definitely been the more dominant of the two but they've both been top tier.
AEPi has always been good.
PIKE/SigEp
Phi Psi/AEPi/Pi Kapp
Sigma Chi/Kappa Sig/DELT
Beta/TKE/PSK/SAE etc.

phi psi is better than sig ep still. they are getting better this year, but as far as hot guys phi psi beats sig ep for sure

Yeah right. Phi Psi is full of stoners that never show up to anything. Phi Psi is honestly not even as good as AEPI, let alone sig ep. Try and be objective here.

I agree with what the person said above, spot on. Idk if pike has definitely been the more dominant one it depends from what aspect you are looking at, they all have their pros and cons but it's always pretty tight, too bad frats feel the need to be so competitive creating tension here at GWU. Other schools have it better, they respect each other more. I think DTD has a bigger Chance of rebounding than Kappa sig.

I think Delt will definitely bounce back. I haven't been in their house but I heard it's nice and they have a huge pledge class of good guys.

Well you really only have two options on campus if you want to join a "real fraternity." It should be pretty obvious to you which ones those are.

Lets be real boys.. there are no 'real fraternities' at GWU. This isn't penn state nor lsu nor bama. SigEp and Pike are just the best pretenders of all the pretenders.

These are the Tiers
TOP: Pike, there can only be one number one position.
mid top: Phi Psi, Pi Kapp, Sigma Chi, Sig Ep
Mid: Kap Sig, DTD, KA, AEPI
Bot mid: ZBT, Lambda Chi,
Bot: TKE PSK SIG NU and SAE
Ratings generally change every year and usually are completely different after 4.

Very very true. This was clearly written by a Pike kid. No clue why he would rank Pi Kapp that high or sigma chi haha they are full of weirdos

Guys in Pike and SigEp are the biggest losers ever yet think they're the coolest guys on campus. Neither fraternity has a house or mixes with hot chicks. Phi Psi is officially the best on campus -- !!
