fall rush

I'm transferring to GW this fall and I was wondering what rush is like as a transfer? Do transfer sophomores have any chances of getting a bid?

Fraternity rush? You can easily get a bid pretty much anywhere as a cool sophomore

Sorority? A bit harder, especially for more selective sororitys. Not a huge problem still

sorority recruitment is a bit harder as a sophomore esp for sororitys like SK/Aphi but it's doable

Frats don't really care if you're a sophomore

Second both of them, sororities it depends on which one and can be harder, but for frats they don't care at all

I rushed as a soph transfer this year with another friend who was also a transfer and it is honestly much harder. I can remember at least 3 parties on my first day where the conversations were incredible but when i told the girl I was a sophomore her face fell. My advice is just not to get discouraged, I stuck through it and ended up in a great chapter as did my friend.
