I’ve met really nice and genuine girls in this sorority and I’ve also met the meanest and most shallow girls in this sorority but the truth is it is like that in all sororities. It is impossible to find a place where every girl is perfect and everyone loves each other. They are considered top 2 and at least for now no one can really argue with that. They are known for being good looking girls and that is pretty much it. I think this is a great chapter to join if you are into a sorority that mixes with frats and that is big on social events. Aphi always gets invited to all the social events and you will see them at the club every weekend. The only problem with aphi as with most sororities is that they want to be top 1 or try to make it look like they are which makes the sorority sometimes be very toxic. Aphi just targets all sororities that they feel threatened by because they don’t want to be outshined by anyone and they also believe that they own the frats so if it seems like your sorority is hanging out with one of the frats more than they do they will not like that at all. They did an okay job with the new pc from what I’ve heard people have said that yes they’re all pretty girls but it is a very random combination of girls that doesn’t really make sense and that where they go the drama follows so new frat pcs aren’t that into hanging out with them but they still do. Again, I’ve met the sweetest and most genuine girls in this chapter who are truly the best people ever and if you go through rush and connect with aphi you should totally go for it. No need to look down on this sorority just because there are a few girls that aren’t great because it will be like that in all the other sororities. I know for a fact every aphi loves aphi.

Only reason they are still considered a good sorority is because the older girls are close to guys in frats so they keep getting invited. New pc is so weird and they are all such mean girls. They were all dirty rushed by girls in the older pc who told them that if they didn’t join aphi their lives in gw were over because they were not even that pretty. The truth is if you want to have a social life don’t rush aphi because the moment this eboard retires they aren’t getting any more invites. They have an awful reputation of being mean and I’ve heard that all the girls in it hate on each other plus the racism scandal that u will forever be associated to if u join this sorority.

Really nice and genuine girls who don’t deserve the hate they get tbh. Only critique is that this chapter isn’t nearly as involved on campus as others. But overall great

It is true that they've had issues and controversies surrounding racism and homophobia, but I wouldn't let that reflect all of the members in the chapter. Many members of the two newest PCs went through recruitment with the mindset of wanting to change the reputation and environment of the chapter. I have hope for their future. If you're joining Greek life to party with your sisters and the frats, then this is a great choice. They get the most tables and get invites to the "top frats" if those even exist at GW. The women I've met in this chapter are very kind, loving, and fun. Personally, I haven't had any issues with the women in this chapter.

Theres a reason tbeyre top. Not closed off and don’t have a superiority complex like kappa but also not crazy and obsessive like sk. genuinely have a good sisterhood when you’re in it. the newest pc is very close and not cliquey super cool girls.

Top tier for weird reasons. Good looking, popular, and social, but odd group of girls and some are pretentious and rude. Dont rush aphi if you wanna feel welcomed and safe.

Looks Driven Academic Competitive not as focused on parent's bank accounts or pedigrees as Kappa Recent PNM groups seem to be into bonding and having a good time Open to mixing with other houses
