Kappa Sigma - ΚΣ Fraternity Ratings at SU

Claim to be a “safe house” but looking at these other reviews it seems like they’ve been deceitful about this for years. There are good people but very few.

I’ve gone to many of there parties and they always create a safe and enjoyable environment. I have never felt like they might take advantage of me or any of my Alpha Delta Pi sisters. They also have a surprisingly clean house with is always a plus.

they claim to be the “safe house” but they have protected the most evil men i have ever encountered. just because they’re “quirky” doesnt mean they actually respect women. i know too many women who have been assaulted, harassed, and mistreated. shame on kappa sigma for defending predators.

I’ve always loved the guys in Sig! They’re really kind and the Sig house is a place where everyone is welcome and accepted. They’re a bit underrated compared to the other fraternities, but they have great guys who are involved around campus and good leaders

Sig is probably the best fraternity on this campus. You will feel very welcome at this house and love everyone here. They treat everyone equally and are great fun to be around.

Friendly toward all students. Largely known as the campus allies, SU Kappa Sigma is very LGBTQ friendly. The Kappa Sigma House is regarded as a ‘safe space’ for those who do not feel comfortable partying at the other fraternity houses.

I will never forget how horribly I was treated here. Kappa Sigma has a facade of being accepting, but is actually the most looks and money obsessed of them all. The "top dogs" are a group of good looking guys with poor social skills who think that they deserve to be in a real frat like Pike, just because they're prettyboys. These same guys will warmly accept people who wouldn't be taken in by the other frats, usually due to a combination of poor social skills and unattractive looks, then basically use them as punching bags.

These guys are some of the coolest people on campus, and if I were a dude I would pledge SIG despite having zero interest in other greek life. I came across this page by accident and just wanted to give these guys my love. Even when me and my friends were first-years, these guys were super welcoming and would be friendly just around campus, many of them are also involved in things outside of the fraternity including open mic in Korouva and theater stuff. Now that I'm a sophomore, I'm friends with a lot of the guys and really enjoy just hanging out on weekends and study breaks. The house is also so clean and nice compared to the other frats, and the floor is really sticky which I appreciate. They also have the best parties on campus!

Even after being the only ones open for an entire semester, they still only managed to get one pledge. Brotherhood is in shambles, their confidence as a fraternity is weak at best. Very exclusive, if you’re not in favor at the moment they will shun you. The girls that hang out there are annoying and only indulge in the Sig’s exclusivity. They have no identity as a fraternity, and you can tell through their desperation for a past identity that no longer belongs to them.
