rushing as a junior

by: help

formal recruitment this sem, got a bid but it wasn't a good fit, dropped before initiation and 100% want to rush next year. do i still have equal chances of getting a bid from all the houses? will it look bad that i rushed and got a bid previously/does it matter?

Maybe you can start a new frat with GDI Joe! We all know how badly he wants back in, and hate to break it to ya kid, but your time in greeklife is finished... Enjoy life as a GDI!

The MRABA says you can rush again the next calendar year as long as you have dropped before initiation.

idk if this was meant for a sorority or frat, but rushing as a junior for a sorority is a bit more challenging cuz the chapters normally look for pledges in first or second year. i would say it’s easier to get into aoii, theta and pi phi as a third year, but aphi and agd are a lot more challenging. it’s not impossible especially if you know someone in your desired sorority but it’s definitely more difficult. the same probably applies to frats also!
