Requesting Help: I have been stuck on this problem

by: Pierre de Fermat

Can every finite dimensional right alternative algebra over a “good” field be expressed as a direct sum (of vector spaces) of its nil radical and a semisimple subalgebra?

I have been struggling with this for days and have yet to be able to solve this problem.

Is there a variety of Lie algebras over a field of charac- teristic 0 with a distributive lattice of subvarieties and whose basis of identities is not limited to degree 6?
