People of colour in Frats
by: future stangAre there people of colour in Western Fraternities? Or is racism still prevalent? I’m thinking about rushing but not tryna get extra screwed because I’m not white. A quick look thru this site and all the racism makes me think I'll get destroyed

If this is your first time on this site, I would say stay away from this bbc guy. He has been active on this site for over a year. General rankings of frats are in three tiers. Only the top and mid tier frats mix with sororities. Go through rush and find the house you fit in best.
TOP: LXA, Sigs, Fiji
Mid: Pike, Du, Zeta
Bottom: ksig, phi delt, AEII

this site is not a good place for information since it has been taken over by a few trolls for the past year. people in the greek scene are in general good people, and stuff said on this site don't represent our community at all. i suggest going to rush events and see it for yourself

Most Greek organizations here at western are very inclusive, open and welcoming! Rush a couple frats and get a feel for a couple and choose where you feel most and home and relate to the guys the most. Just avoid mixing/interacting with agd and you should be fine.
