Dress well, this isn't your prom so dont go wearing a full dress or anything. Also dont wear sweatpants or any sort of lounge attire. Wear maybe more casual heels and a summer dress, romper, etc. Something you might wear out during the summer if you were say going to the park for a nice walk or for a nice outdoor lunch. Id say brighter colors are usually better, more approachable.

Wear something you really like that you feel comfortable in but is slightly dressy. Try to choose something memorable because actives meet soo many PNMs that it will help in their mind if they’re like “oh yeah, that’s the girl in the (whahever), we had such a good conversation”

Ya just make sure they are nice jeans and a nice top, I wouldnt do ripped jeans or anything, and the top I wouldnt go tight with, maybe something a little bit looser and flowing, but again bright colors, or even if you do white do a bright white, things that stand out and portray as classy are perfect.

What about shoes? Can I wear like converse or "nicer" sneakers or do they have to be dressy shoes like heels/booties

I wore nice sneakers on day 1 when I went through rush and heels on day 2, I didn't get cut from any houses on day 1 so obviously the sneakers aren't a deal breaker haha. If you're not into heels, then nice sneakers or flat sandals will be fine. I'd say no to converse or anything too athletic though. And definitely no to any white shoes with discoloration or stains. I would actually advise against jeans, also. Sometimes sororities wear jeans or jean skirts so you want to stand out - I'd recommend some appropriate length cotton shorts, a pretty skirt if not a dress

It’s best to do something more business casual or similar to what you would wear on a date. I wore a romper on day 1 with flat sandles and a cute sun dress with heels day 2. I wouldn’t suggest doing anything athletic or casual. Wear something that you actually feel comfortable in and makes you stand out. We’ll remember you easier if there was a unique thing about your outfit (and it’s a great conversation starter)
