These guys are not a real fraternity. This is a fake frat. A bunch of guys playing pretend because they didn't get any bids from any other frats. Zero of the sororities actually even consider them legit because they are not.

seem to be a group of genuine guys and very involved on campus but i dont think i matched with them very well... they seem more focused on academics than partying and i was looking for a frat that helps me meet people in the party scene

Judging from your nickname I assume you're looking into joining this year? I agree that our chapter is very academically focused, this isn't necessarily a bad thing. If you're looking to get into the party scene there's plenty of opportunities to go out, and people in the chapter who will do so with you. But it's not our main focus and what I think makes us different from many other fraternities on campus. I suggest you continue to give it a chance, you can back out at any time up until your initiation, also keep in mine Phi Delta Theta's larger organization has an alcohol free rush so that's why you may not be getting the experience you may have imagined right away. I had a similar outlook as you when I rushed, I didn't know much about fraternities and wanted some guys to party with. But I gave Phi Delt a chance even though I was disappointed in not having alcohol at rush events and don't regret it at all. I've met my best friends, my grades have gone up, and I'm overall a healthier person than I was before, and I still get to go out a substantial amount.

They got reinstalled at Western in 2015 and have had some solid growth since. Highest GPA on campus, strongest philanthropy program on campus, & are making gains in the Greek scene. Already strong and getting stronger

Alumni of this Chapter at UWO. Joined in my first year and was able to give back substantially to campus and the London community through Phi Delt. Great group of guys and they ensure that every brother excels in academic, social, and philanthropy. Proud to be a PhI!

Lost complete respect for this organization after hearing that their old president had been cheating on his Alpha Phi girlfriend for months

They aren't the biggest frat on campus but I've had nothing but good experiences with the guys I've met. In the warmer months they are ALWAYS on concrete beach doing some sort of philanthropy event. I'm excited to see how things go for you guys in the coming years :)
