The Greek life at the Umt is unlike any other every house love the other house they are a big family that does what ever they can to support one another not only do the houses have great sisterhood and brotherhood but the community and school love them as well they set great expectations

Things could be better here, but all the chapters are busting their asses to make things better

I heard about hazing in sigma chi

I am a current member of the Greek community and I can honestly say it has been a great experience. Not going to lie EVERY house has drama but it’s how you deal with it which makes all the difference. The guys at every house are usually gentleman. If you live on campus and you are a female and ask one of the fraternity guys they will almost always walk you back or you and your friends. The sorority girls almost always have your back if you need anything because that’s what Panhell is all about. I love all of the different activities that the Greek community does. I just wish they did more activities for the community as a whole. All of the sorority houses are very clean and well managed especially because ALL of the sorority houses are dry houses and managed by the sorority mothers. The fraternities are usually very clean and safe. The mixers are very fun because you get to meet everyone and the neighborhood activities are very fun. Try the Greek life you never know it might be something you will never regret doing. They also look good on applications. EVERYONE IS WELCOME TO JOIN

I think the Greek system at UM is pretty great, but it's not without it flaws. Defiantly a community of like-minded people who care for each other and want each other to succeed. If you're thinking about it, give it a chance. If it doesn't work out at least you tried.
