Is it common for girls at WLU to get completely released from rush?

Does being GDI suck? I've heard everything from "it's no big deal" to "you have to work at it" to "transfer if you don't want to be miserable for the next three years."

I'm a gdi at W&L and I honestly like it. I'm friends with a lot of girls in sororities and they all include me in everything they do. It's not "social suicide" the way some people may want you to think. It's not like anyone thinks any less of you as a result of it!
