re probably horrible because y'all tear each other down. Women need to support one another and not behave like they do on this site. So sad.

I thought that W&L attracted talented women. Y'all behave like middle schoolers. Definitely going to look at Ole Miss or Furman instead.

don't let a couple of snarky comments from a few girls make you think this is a bad school, I fell in love with it day one. Sadly, If you look at any other school you will see the same things.

Your entire social experience at W&L comes down to Freshmen Rush Week. sororitys and Frats only each socialize with certain groups. For example, you can go four year in PiPhi and never mix with KA or Phi Psi. If you join Kappa you will most likely never mix with Sig Ep. So you have a very limited social exposure on this campus. This is how it feels like high school. And people treat you differently based upon your Greek letters. No school spirit here.

I agree with Rush Week. These women are so negative about each other on a public website. It seems like middle school bullies. At other campuses, the mixers are more inclusive. At other campuses PiPhi and Kappa would mix with all the frats. So sad.

Please be mindful.
The following is from the Washington and Lee University
Handbook re - The Honor Code:
The Board of Trustees believes that one of its primary
responsibilities is to encourage the development and
maintenance of an environment within the University
community, which best permits the realization of our
institutional goals. Those goals, according to the University's
Statement of Institutional Philosophy, include the pursuit of
our educational purpose in a climate of learning that stresses
the importance of the individual, the personal honor and
integrity of all students and their harmonious relationships
with other members of the greater community. In this
context, the institutionalized extracurricular and social life of
students should contribute to these goals.
Students must nonetheless remain
aware that they are members of a University community
whose traditions, image and reputation can be harmed by
negative actions and behavior
