Kappa delta voted to disaffiliate from their national Org and become a local sorority??? And do what exactly? What on earth would the point of this be?

They will be irrelevant if they go local.

They will lose their house and be nothing. Don't understand why they'd choose to do this. Idiocy.

so rumor has it that KD is pissed at their nationals because some rules don't let them use as much of their budget on parties and restrict them from organizing DDs.
sucks for the freshmen who joined expecting a prestigious national org and now are going to get some disorganized mess.

Why did they do this?

For some reason kappas keep trying to tell everyone kds were stupid and crazy but apparently the kappas wanted to first and had meetings basically begging kd to go local with them then just dropped? all the big schools (Ivy schools and the like) have been switching to local. I can't imagine kappas will become the most relevant again, its more KD vs Theta at this point especially looks wise, kds are just better socially than the rest and will probably stay on top given the fact that as of now kappa is trying to still as well

makes no sense. they wouldn't be kappa delta then since kappa delta is a national group. they will just be an unrecognized group. never kd again

Keep watch over the next 3 years while KD plunges harder than even Kappa ever could've dreamed of.

I'm in a local sorority from another school (similar to W&L) and we disaffiliated from our nationals in 2010.

We were top tier then, and we're top tier now (even better than we used to be)

Moral of the story: Being NPC doesn't matter, sisterhood is what matters
