Being a smaller regional type school ULL has lot's of locals that go to school here. You have lot's of students that are all from the same school and have known each other their whole lives, some people call it STM or Comeaux Sr. High.
That being said it can sometimes be hard for GDI's w/o a local background to find friends and have social opportunities, so Greek life is a GREAT way to break that cycle and get involved in campus and other social opportunities.
