getting a bid?

I am an incoming freshman and really want to get a bid from a top house like kkg, theta, or dg! I'm pretty, skinny, upper middle class, but I'm not a legacy. What do I have to do during rush to get a bid and not get dropped???

I don't have famous parents but were an upper middle class family living in California does that help?

California only helps with DG (mostly la girls) and Pi Phi (mostly oc girls). Kappa and theta seem to have girls from everywhere, but Kappa seems to be more South/East Coast and Theta seems to be Midwestern.
