possible pnm
by: Possible PNMBased upon the schools that I have been accepted to so far, I think that I have a chance of getting into USC, which is my top choice. If I come here, I plan on rushing. I know that kappa, DG, theta, and Pi phi are the houses to join, but I was wondering how they are different from eachother? I didn't party very much in hs (but that will change) and I really care about my grades. Which one will I fit into?

my best advice, and I mean this 100% sincerely, is to keep an open mind. limiting your options makes recruitment a very stressful and overwhelming experience, and it often keeps girls from connecting with girls and chapters they might really like. I've seen too many girls cry after being dropped by a house they predetermined that they "belonged" in and then not join a sorority at all, and then they miss out on a whole year of the amazing things Greek life has to offer. meanwhile, the girls that keep an open mind during recruitment generally end up very happy in a house that they love. personally, I wouldn't have chosen my chapter during recruitment, but I decided to stick around and try it out after I got my bid; it ended up being the greatest blessing of my college career.
I wish you the very best in your college decision process, and I hope that if you do come to USC you find your home in the Panhellenic community!
