nervous for rush

I was wondering how much GPA counts in the rushing process for sororities. I have a lot going for me, but know that my grades are not as high as some other girls because of my extremely competitive school. Will this factor ruin my chances?

Everyone who gets into USC is relatively smart, so you're GPA can't hurt you that much. Houses like Theta supposedly put more emphasis on GPA, but if you were smart enough to get into USC, your GPA can't hurt you during rush.

GPA doesn't matter like how much money your daddy has here haha

Every chapter has a minimum GPA. If you had below a 2.7, don't bother rushing at all freshman year because you will be dropped from recruitment. If you had below a 3.5, accept that some house will drop you because of your GPA, but you can still find a chapter you like. Worst case, build up your GPA first semester and spring rush/rush as a sophomore.
