lambda chi
by: Proud In-Active
Sad but true my frat is slowly dying. I'm not going to give away my identity but I was a full member of Lambda Chi for more than a year after pledging (you know what I mean). I even tried to getting involved in the leadership and found out what most other members already know. Lambda is not a frat. We don't do anything like the other frats. There is no brotherhood and hardly any friendship either. Most guys are simply out for themselves. Get as much tail as you can from the dimwit girls that walk-in and that is about as good as it gets.
Most guys don't pay there dues and nobody bothers to even ask them to collect. If we do have an event, one of well healed duchebag members sponsors it out of his own pocket. This is one of the reasons our events are so sketchy party to party for the last few years. No consistency.
Bottom line is that if you are looking to joint a top frat, Lambda Chi is probably not the place anymore. I'm hopeful this changes in the future but I don't want others to make the same mistake I did.

Are you kidding? Pretty sure you could insert any fraternity name into this dialogue and still be right on. This is USC. No frat is here for the "brotherhood"...and the original poster identifies himself unintentionally as not a lambda...no lambda would say "pledging" for example. As a senior, I am aware that alums hang with alums from their era....they don't socialize with students, except for the occasional event etc. Yours in ZAX

unfortunately the dues that aren't paid is a huge issue. I've seen multiple accounts of brothers arguing with each other about it. I think it says something about the brotherhood when a lot of the brothers are not totally invested in the fraternity. That's sad if the whole statement is true, I have a few friends in lambda and they're really great guys. I wouldn't want my friends to have to endure the entirety of the statement.
