tbh bad things can be said of EVERY house, but theta is the one house that is universally unliked by all of the panhel community, because they pretend to be nice. Atleast you don't see kappa or dg or pi phi pretending to be sweet and fake

no idea how they've manage to be called a "top house" for this long. Top frats mix with them basically because they have to. Lambda barely wanted to take them to homecoming

Of the 15 thetas I know pretty well, Only two of them are genuinely nice/non judgemental

Is theta really that deceptive? Like say I felt a pretty good connection with theta and they offered me a bid. Should I reject it?

You don't get to pick theta. They pick you. They know exactly who their pledge class is gonna be before you walk through those doors the first day of rush, and nothing will change that. The only reason they bother faking this connection with you and making you feel special and like you belong there is so that YOU want theta and they can seem exclusive when they drop you, not so that you pick theta. It doesn't work that way. So yes, they really are that deceptive, and quite cruel.

I was ordered by the head Kray Kray Girls to attack Theta and Pi Phi. I haven't been attacking DG because they've got their DG Alum Mom to be embarrassed about. I must keep posting. Thank you for wasting the last few seconds of your time reading this.

at this point neither theta nor pi phi are really a top house. they're a tier of their own and will have to duke it out this rush

Because they trick you during rush to believe they're something they're not. That's the trap. You either realize it after its too late (post initiation) or you change due to their influence and never even noticed

Preach. My roommate was in theta and likes her little group of friends there but really really does not like a majority of the house. She brought me to brunch once which you're allowed to bring a guest too, and I've never felt so unwelcome. Totally the opposite of how they are during rush.

I lived in new north last year so I have a pretty good sense of the freshman in each house and can 100% confirm the theta trap is real. The older girls were so rude to the freshman, rush was 100% fake. I haven't heard it this bad in any other house.
