studious and fun??

by: incoming fish

Hey guys! I was wondering if a certain house stood out the most as being a good balance of partying/fun and academics. In high school my studies were always very important to me but so was volunteering and having a good social life. I like to go out and have fun (i.e. I do drink and go to parties) but it can't potentially be a huge threat to GPA! Thanks :)M

In every house you'll find people who have active social lives but are still committed to academics. You can choose to be as involved in greek life as you want, it's all about time management and prioritizing. Good luck!

While you can find girls who party and still have great GPAs in every house, you can find the full listing of house's GPAs on the USC PHC website.

an important thing to note is that a lot of the sororities with high gpas have a lot of theater and comm majors. not all majors are the same.

Like above said, keep in mind that not all majors are equal!
Some of the houses with very high GPAs have a lot of less intense majors, while others with seemingly lower GPAs actually have more studious members because of their harder classes.
I'd judge how studious a house is by asking about their scholarship practices, etc. during rush and not looking only at GPA
