I'm premed and I do great, with the required study hours and a little extra on the side I had a 3.98 GPA last semester and plenty of internship opportunities.

Not a lot of pre-meds in sororities - I think there are 6 or 7 in my house, including myself, but I think that's just because the type of girl who wants to be a doctor generally isn't the type of girl who joins a sorority. Of course there are exceptions though. Pre-med is not that hard by itself. It's like 8 science classes, 6 of which are not organic chemistry, and you have like 3 years to take them. If you'd like to have more time for fun stuff, I would recommend majoring in something that's not science-related that you like and just taking the required pre-med science classes.

Switching to comm is always a great option though.
