This is completely false. However, when you sign up for rush, you allow the sorority access to your financial aid and grade information. So don't lie about your wealth if you are heavily borrowing or on some sort of needs based financial aid.

It's about honesty. If a girl can't pay for school, how is she going to pay for a quality sorority experience? Girls often lie just to get in and worry about paying later. It's not fair to those girls who get cut even though their parents cared enough to provide that quality sorority experience.
