Truly intelligent, engaged people that will going places in life certainly do not take this site as gospel. (Admittedly, there are also some total DB's who may make good connections, or come from family money). That said, hey, everyone wants to feel like they're one of the "cool kids". The "row" is not the be-all and end-all of your existence. Get involved in campus orgs and take on a leadership role in them. Try not to worry how "popular" you/your house is-- high school is over, move on and make the effort to connect and do things outside the row. You'll be more satisfied and happier.
