I feel like I'm in the minority, since my parents supported me no matter what house I joined. I know for a fact my grandmother did not want me to join her house here at USC, and she's quite happy for me, since I'm happy in my house?a house she didn't particularly like at her school when was a Greek. Maybe it's because Greek life isn't huge where I'm from, I don't know, but it seems silly to join a house because people who aren't in the house want you to. You should join the house you want to join?you're the one who's going to be in it for the next four years.

agree with you and your rankings. although they shouldn't influence a girls decision during rush, rankings usually do.. but to make decisions based on what was popular fifty years ago? that just seems dumb. focus on the houses with girls you actually like during rush and if you really want to focus on popularity, then consider the houses that are popular NOW and have potential for the future, not what was cool during your grandmother or mother's college years. rankings are always changing and especially in recent years, they have changed a whole lot at sc. for instance, pi phi and gamma phi have moved down considerably and aren't what they used to be. kappa has gotten better and now competes with dg for the number one title. alpha phi has risen steadily and as a result made a huge jump in rankings. keep in mind that things have changed and still are changing so a sorority's status years ago shouldn't influence you

Sorry theta, the row and the girls rushing know that's not an accurate ranking. when will you learn? never, it seems.....you are wrong wrong wrong. The truth:

Kappa- always been a top house with gorgeous girls.

DG- Used to get Kappa leftovers. Still does at times.

Gammaphi- been a midddle to lower house for 40 years or so. no change.

Theta- Has dropped every year, at least the last three in a row and they are freaks about it. Not a highly sought after house.

Pi Phi- has only moved up or stayed the same as they have always been. Nothing envious haters can really do about that.

Aphi- still the red-headed stepchild nobody wants to play with. Literally.

waste so much energy. get lives. who cares. it's a sorority, you are truly pathetic if you care this much. and obviously you don't have anything productive going on in your life if this website gets so much of your time and attention.

Theta hates on DG, Kappa, Pi Phi and APhi. APhi hates on Theta and Pi Phi.

So, since both Theta and APhi have reps for being super angry and aggressive.....and DG and Pi Phi have reps as chill girls...well you do the basic math.

USC would be so much better off without this site.

How are theta and aphi the haters when they are the ones getting bashed and hated on the most? And theta/aphi are angry and aggressive? Hahaha since when? Why even bother spread lies on this site when girls who are rushing will know and see the truth the minute rush starts. And no, Pi Phi you are not fooling anyone. New to this site but...I would agree with the post 2 hours ago. Theta and Alpha Phi are getting their just desserts. I don't know too many Pi Phis or DGs actually, but the Thetas and APhis I know have always treated other girls not in their house with a lot of negativity, even more than Kappa. DG and Pi Phi and most of the middle houses keep their thoughts about other houses to themselves and are better for it

You can't hide your many faults, not only during rush, but in the years before the girls even start rush, because they totally know what houses are hot and who is creepy and just plain sad.

OMG. I agree 100%. Theta and Aphi have been playing this game for years. Theta knows their elite status is all but gone, and Aphi never had any status so they stew in their own bile. They will rush horribly taking what they can get. DG and PiPhi are happy, fun girls, not haters. Their aura is so different from the hater houses. When you love your house you are nice to people, you feel good about yourself, and when you don't you become a vicious whacko.
