by: TimmyOn a scale of 1-10, how much politics are involved in Sigma Chi's rush process? Ive been told its impossible to get a bid without any connections in the house. Is this true?

EHH you still need some connections, but no doubt if your insanely rich they'll give a nod.

So if I'm just well off and have no connections at all, would they be worth rushing or would I automatically be cut?

This is not true at all. A lot of people who know nothing about the rush process always feel that they have the right to voice their ignorant opinion. If you get along with the guys, you'll get a bid. It's not that competitive especially compared to Phi Psi and Lambda

What if Im loaded, from the OC, but don't know anyone in the house? Does that help at all
