by: SaddI'm a sophomore I finally joined a sorority I thought I would like it because the girls in it are nice and down to earth but tbh I'm miserable. It's nothing personal it's just that the girls don't have the lifestyle I have. It's too late to rush again. Initiaion is coming up. I don't want to force myself to be happy here. Any advice?

Every house has a lot of different types of girls in it. You will find ones you love.
I hated my experience too for such a long time. I thought the same thing, why am I forcing myself to be happy? But for whatever reason I stuck with it and finally met the girls I love. I then realized I'm not forcing myself to be happy, they just actually make me happy.
Basically, either way you will have a good experience at USC. Whether you drop or stay, you can be very happy. Decide what is right for you and don't let anyone talk you out of it. Good luck girl <3

"It gets better" is correct-- but if you're truly not happy, you should drop. Unhappy people drag everyone down-- if you're truly not happy, then do yourself and the girls who chose YOU to be a part of their house and lives a favor and just drop. As for Kappa, there are plenty of VERY unhappy girls there who are on lots of meds. Some Kappas are happy, nice-ish girls, some are the quintessential "Mean Girls."

lol. you can't just "go kappa" Kappa is very selective and difficult to get into.
