how far is the row from campus?

How far is the Row from campus (how many minutes to walk)? I am interested in living in a sorority house in future years because it seems really fun but I'm concerned about safety in neighborhoods around USC, especially at night time. Also, would you say it's more convenient to live in a chapter house versus renting a place off campus?

5-10 walk. You probably need to worry more about where you hook-up with a boy than getting to the sorority house from campus

The row, 28th Street, is one of the safest places to live. !0 minute walk to campus, 5 minute bike ride and DPS is everywhere on the main path to and from the row.

If you are afraid to walk to the row from campus, you should probably just go to a different school. That being said, that area is probably the most patrolled and safest areas besides the actual campus itself.

They will be starting a new second tier row further north than 28th street. The exact location is not know just yet. Some of the new houses may face the alley between 28th and 27th (TKE to Gamma Phi).
