religion
by: PNMAre prayers common in sororities at USC? If I'm not religious, is that going to be awkward? Am I going to have to sit through religious ceremonies? I just don't want to accept a bid to a house and then find out later that it's known to be full of religious girls that may not be a fan of the fact that religion isn't my thing.

Every house has every type of girl! Many Greek organizations have religious aspects to them, but by no means are all, or even most, members in most houses of any given religion. Sorority rituals are often pseudo-religious in nature, but it isn't really a big deal. I'm not religious either but it's never been uncomfortable.
As for houses with bible study, there's an all-Greek organization that rotates houses for where it holds meetings, and some girls gather with others in their own houses for independent study, but it's never house-sponsored and is always targeted at interested members. There is zero religious pressure in the Greek system--not anything to worry about!!
