no more than 109 pounds

by: Sorority Rush Advice

If you want to get into a top sorority, you need to be at or under the magic weight of 109 pounds. This of course unless you are over 5'-11" in height then your cut off is 114 pounds.

Still time to drop those extra pounds before rush!

No, that doesn't work. Just drop the 5 pounds and you will be fine.

Chubby girls are not attractive and top sororities should have a cut off weight to keep out those that don't belong. Being over weight is completely unhealthy. However, I think you can argue 109 is tad bit low for a big boned girl who is 5'-9". My house uses BMI instead of just weight alone. We only take girls that have a BMI between 18 and 22.

A BMI below 18 is obviously unhealthy

Stop. Just stop. All of this is so wrong. PNMs, don't for a single second think this is the truth.

Don't worry, I think the majority of people find this entertaining, rather than insightful

I never said this was a rule. This is internal practice for the top houses.

Girls who don't take care of themselves and become obese have no business pledging

5'5 and 109 is underweight, and 5'11 and 114 is dangerously underweight.
