Rushing the Row
by: RushmoreWe walked up and down the row last night and checked out the frats we are thinking about rushing. Can someone explain why Sigma Chi looks so beat? We all assumed they have lots of money and would have a nice frat house but the place looks terrible inside and out. Has to be one of the worst looking houses on the row.

Sigma Chi has been a leader on the USC campus for well over a 100 years long before some of the up and comers such as Lambda and TKE. Maybe something you don’t understand is that fresh paint and a fancy soda fountain doesn’t make a top fraternity and never will. It’s the character and quality of the members that make the fraternity and Sigma Chi only takes the top guys from all around the country as new members. Many Sigma Chis have in the past and continue today to lead student government and other civic activities across the USC campus. When you see someone wearing Sigma Chi letters on campus, you instinctively know they are a leader.
Sigma Chi has a 20 million dollar brand new house project working its way through the local government for approval. It’s only a few years away from opening and it will outshine anything the other fraternities currently have.

I saw a homeless guy pushing a shopping cart down university wearing a sig chi rush shirt. Is he a leader too?
