real sorority rankings 2014
by: ranking
I've notice that the discussion section on this site seems to just be a space dedicated to being rude, bashing other organizations, spreading rumors, and just trolling in general. And I wanted to make a post to offer a space to change that.
On this topic, I want to challenge you to post something positive about a sorority at USC - whether it is just one of them, or every single one. In particular, if you belong to a sorority at USC, it would be amazing if you could say something positive about every other Panhellenic chapter at USC. I called it a challenge for a reason.
For instance, if you know a girl who does amazing philanthropy work; if you've seen an organization support an awesome cause; if you know future Panhellenic women that plan to be lawyers or doctors; if you've seen a Panhellenic woman do an amazing job in a leadership role; or even if you've seen sorority women step up to take care of other women on the row.
Too often people focus on the negative aspects of sororities, but I know that our Panhellenic Council has so much more to offer than what people have to criticize.

I love this idea!! I tried to come up with stuff for each group based off my experiences around them! :) (had to split it into two parts because the comment was too long!!)
In no particular order:
1. Pi Phi – I had a class that was strongly discussion based, and the girl who constantly repped her letters and was always incredibly prepared to discuss topics was a Pi Phi!
2. Theta – one of the most incredibly talented singers that I know is in Theta. And they have girls that are representing Britain and Australia, which is so cool!
3. TriDelt – our newly elected USG Vice President is a TriDelt. Also, some of the most fun-loving and down-to-earth girls I know! :)
4. AXO – All of the Alpha Chi’s I know are super sweet, but also really supportive of one another, and really driven for what they are passionate about!
5. DG – the Songfest President is a DG! Very intelligent and driven group of women. Many are involved around campus too, whether it be on sports teams or in the Song Girls!

6. SigDelt – I was in a class with three of them, and they always sat together! Really strong sisterhood. Super sweet and funny, and also some of the most kind-hearted and generous girls I know.
7. Kappa – several of the most talented actresses I’ve seen on campus, and also some of the sweetest girls I’ve met! I had one in one of my classes who was absolutely brilliant in discussion.
8. AGD – even though their chapter is brand new here, I see them working really hard to represent their letters and build a sisterhood at USC! They’re in so many student orgs too!
9. ADPi – I always see them sitting together in my classes, and in big groups too! They always seem to have a ton of fun, and are excited to see one another. A strong sisterhood!
10. Gamma Phi – they are such a friendly, super sweet, and supportive group of girls. I heard a girl giving a friend the most wonderful pep talk about midterms, and I saw she was wearing Gamma Phi’s letters – it was so sweet!
11. Alpha Phi – they had several girls that were really involved with Dance Marathon Planning Committee, and they raised a ton for the Children’s Hospital in LA! A super dedicated and smart group of girls.
