What's going on with disaffiliation? How does this change rush? sophomore transfer btw

It's going great! Any frat that stays in the old IFC is going to die in a few years

All Fall admit freshman will be able to rush. The UPIFC is the new fraternity rush organization and will be hosting rush starting August 19th. All other usc students will also be able to rush. The signup link will be available within the next 2 days.

Why haven’t they announced the UPIFC officially?

The announcement goes out officially to the school today. The sign up link will be available monday.
Check either the USC SubReddit or any of the disaffiliating houses(all but 2) instagram bios or websites. It will be all controlled through one website. Good luck

link will be put out here and on most of the fraternities instagram pages, USC knows what they are losing when we take away their power over us. They lose donations from, control of , and power over their most successful organizations. They make the LA times write slander articles with lies about the entire process and reasoning behind the disaffiliation.

So are there two different rush processes now? One for the disaffiliated and one for the houses that stayed? Can you only participate in one of the two rushes?

The affiliated rush has 2 houses in it. You are welcome to do both and I believe it will be flexible enough to allow both to occur simultaneously, but the recruitment process that most are looking for is found in the University Park InterFraternity Council
