ATO Was the Top Frat!

Most kids today have probably never heard of ATO that was the dominant frat for many decades at USC. Not as old as Sigma Chi but a true leader in sports, campus activities and social. In my day, Sigma Chis were the OC boys back when it was hickville where nobody lived. Before the 5 and 405 freeways, OC was orange groves and rednecks who married their cousins. The weren't particularly smart in my day either.
On the other hand, ATO drew its members from the top areas of Los Angeles and Pasadena. There was a trophy for row athletics called "Ironman" and it might as well been called the ATO trophy as they always won it until those TKEs started cheating the system and killed the whole row athletics. ATO still owns their house on 28th with some little frat in there and Jerry P is still the dominate force behind the alumni organization. We have events at his sprawling estate once or twice a year.

ATO was a good house but they got destroyed in the Rumble on the Row. This was the most famous brawl to ever occur on the row. In 1998, forty guys from SAE and ATO fought. Most of the guys from SAE were from the football team, and the fight lasted less then 20 minutes. ATO had a bunch of cool guys but mostly stoners. Everyone was arrested and it began the beginning of the end for both houses.

Answer: SAE and Sigma Chi (not once in 40+ years)
It was almost always ATO and once in a while Kappa Sig would take if for a year then right back to ATO the following year. Kappa sig used to be the football player house. Beta were the swimmers and waterpolo guys. I think Sigma Chi had few baseball kids over the years. I think SAE had badminton covered and that's why they have that chicken coop in the their front yard to this day.

After making up a timeline and backstory, SAE now moves the location of the fight and creates an even more fake narrative with some non-existent LA Times article. The real story is SAEs locked themselves inside their rooms and held each other while crying...probably for no reason whatsoever

We used to call SAEs "Dandies" when they would pass in front of ATO. They never responded, they knew their place back then

Never happened. SAE had around 45 members in the late 90s and they were mostly what people would call Lambda types today
