Wear my brothers frat shirts
by: NewNorthFreshmanHey everyone, my brother was in sigma chi and graduated last year. He gave me a ton of his old shirt that all have sigma chi on them. Is it cool if I wear these around campus? Or will dudes in Sigma Chi say something?

Not sure what this entirely means but thanks! When I would wear my brothers Sigma Chi shirts at the beach back in Newps it would definitely catch a lot of ppl eyes. I understand it’s a big deal and all but I’ve been preparing for this my entire life and I’ve already spoken to a lot of the bro’s and I’m ready to pledge next semester! Just putting in work to maintain in 2.0 gpa.

Hey dude it’s gnarly that you’ll be pledging next semester. What hs did you go to in Newps? I’m a Junior at CDM and my brother is currently a member of the house. I’ve already talked to a ton of the brothers and will be pledging Spring ‘24. I’ll be keeping the tradition alive and becoming the 4th Sigma Chi in my family. What’s your ig we can link up and catch some barrels at the Wedge

It’s fine to wear your letters at SC if you are Sigma Chi or Lambda Chi no other house wears their letters because they are embarrassed they had to settle for a loser house and be ridiculed. The only time TKE wear their letters is when they are pledges during hell week and made to wear their letters 24/7. THE SHAME RIDICULE,LAUGHS, EMBARRASSMENT is almost unbearable and they normally lose about 90% of their Pledge Class.

Does it matter if I plan on rushing? I thought it was against rules to wear letters before becoming an active. I’m a 5th generation Sigma Chi here so idk if it matter.
