Sorority COB as a Junior?

I want to join a sorority but I am a junior and feel like waiting until the Spring will be a waste as I will only have one full year in a sorority. I was wondering what are the odds of APhi actually taking a junior COB (do they prioritize under classmen?) also if anyone knows how many juniors actually rush in the spring and how many of those actually get a decent house.

So you should contact Panhellenic because Aphi isn't one of the houses who were doing COB, and I'm 99% sure the houses who were doing cob are done. Doesn't hurt to ask though.

Oh, and as for the other part of your question, every house will take a few juniors, but they do prioritize freshmen and sophomores because they will be around longer. I'd suggest you try to meet some girls and make friends because while it won't guarantee you a bid, it will help. Also, you'll have made friends should you decide not to take a bid in the spring.

aphi, gphi, and axo are the three doing cob. I went to the meeting last week

I attended the meeting last week and it was only gphi and axo. It was on Panhellenic's Insta story too, and both gphi and axo posted on their own stories..

No other houses were on the list or the follow up emails.

I did cob and it was AXO and gphi, but they are both done now I’m pretty sure. I decided to wait until recruitment in the spring cause I’m still on the fence about actually joining and didn’t want to take a spot.

Both houses were really sweet though!

aphi is doing COB. if you actually went to the meeting you would have seen it. they are just not holding events like the other two sororites

The emails just left them out and Panhellenic only told you I guess? They literally were not mentioned anywhere.

Why are you so obsessed with this? Someone above told you the best way to get into aphi (formal recruitment) so if you don’t believe them then contact them directly.

i don’t know why people are saying aphi wasn’t doing COB because they were 100% at the meeting like the person said above. i think they aren’t holding events but still want to see who’s potentially interested and i think they will reach out to them...

so aphi was at the meeting to announce they were doing cob, but were left off of all the info that was mailed to pnms after the meeting, and held no events because why?
