Why do people call Sigma Chi "yesterday's frat"?

You got one third of it correct. Sigma Chi is yesterday's, today's, and tomorrow's fraternity at USC. These young men are committed to service and philanthropy. So give it a rest Rex.

I think sigma chi’s are referred to as the “slow frat” because they are generally less intelligent than most USC students. They tend to heavily invoke “bro” culture. That isn’t to say they’re all dumb, but that’s where the stereotype arrives from

there was a time that every important guy on campus was somehow connected to sigma chi. No longer, it's over and the current guys will never live up the rep

sigs are becoming irrelevant. when was he last time one of their members did something that mattered? and lots of the kids in sig transfer in from jc because they couldn't get in as a freshman. so slow is right
