sorority reputations

Could someone rank and describe the sororities? Don't just repeat popular opinion, I want the truth. I want to rush next year but I don't want to go into it blindly.

Get ready to get a lot of different opinions, but imho (I'm in a sorority and I didn't rank my house top -- just trying to give the consensus):

1. Kappa -- rich, beautiful, guys love them, but they don't do much on campus

2. DG -- cute, fun, involved on campus, some superficial OC girls

3. Theta -- some hot, some not, smart, well-rounded

4. Alpha Phi -- attractive, up and coming, you either like them or you don't

5. Pi Phi -- partiers, frats like them, not as good as they used to be

6. ADPi -- great sisterhood, smart, involved on campus

7. Tri Delt -- mixed group -- some wild, some studious, kind of plain

8. Gamma Phi/AXO/SDT/AGD -- don't know much about these girls especially since AGD is brand new

but if I had to change it, i'd put tri delt before ADPi

AGD is really nice. Mid-tier much better than AXO and SigDelt. SigDelt doesn't have a house. AGD's house is brand new and AXO the girls are really awks and uncomfortable to be around

There are a ton of recent posts on here addressing this very topic. Go back and read them, there is no reason to re-state what is already here. You can also read the many recent posts on individual sororities. Good luck.

And given that its October and the next "all house" sorority recruitment isn't until next August, I find your question odd. You're probably already in a house and are just fueling the negativity that this site engenders,
