Houses w/ Song Girls and TDF
by: freshmanWhat sororities are most Song Girls or Trojan Dance Force members in? Does being in one of these groups affect what house gives you a bid?

there are a lot of tdf in alpha phi some in gamma Phi. I would say alpha phi pi phi and theta have the most song girls. I think Pi phi Tri delt and alpha phi have couple spirit leaders, I don’t think it really affects which house gives u a bid but I’m not really an expert that’s just who I know

This is completely true when I say there are song girls or people on trojan dance force in every house but AXO. I think gphis song girl is about to graduate though. Also lot of spirit leaders (cheer) in the houses and captain in adpi and captain of song girls in kappa and idk which house dance force captain is in. Most song girls probably in kappa but there’s one ore more in the other houses same with dance force. It won’t matter especially if you’re a freshman because you’re not already on the team BUT if you put an interest down in dance they’ll pair you with somebody who does it during rush usually

^not that it matters but there is only one girl from tridelt on spirit who just graduated she’s so sweet, but yeah it’s mostly adpi

Song girls-captain in kappa
most in kappa but at least one in every house except AXO
spirit leader-aka cheer- captain in Adpi
mix of majority (adpi, aphi, tridelt,) and one girl from gphi
trojan dance force-
girls from aphi, pi phi, adpi, and one tridelt

I don’t get what you’re saying but the question the poster asked was does joining affect if you get on. I’m not in a sorority but if i want a better shot at being a song girl i’m rushing kappa, if i want a better shot at being on cheer i’m rushing adpi, and if i want a better shot i’m rushing wherever the captain of trojan dance force is. That’s all i meant

Rushing a sorority doesn’t make you make a certain team... talent does lol... also tryouts are before rush anyways, so your point is irrelevant

the person above me is correct with their breakdown. assuming you’re trying out in the fall, you would know what team you’re on by the spring and it might sorta affect which sorority you’re in but it can only help you. anybody can be hot and be in a mid tier but to be in a top tier you have to have connections so joining one of the three teams will give you that and make them want you more. all teams are awesome, and good luck!!

as far as 2019 captain of song girls it’s kappa and plenty of aphi on spirit but mostly adpi pi phi u can look at their insta lol

kappa has the most song girls bc their captain is in kappa by far and adpi has the most spirit leaders because their captain is in adpi
